Chris Christie, the Republican Governor of New Jersey, was often touted as a serious contender for the Republican nomination for President in the early days of the campaign last year. He wasn’t. Why? Just read this headline from the New York Times:
“Christie Names a Gay Man and an Asian for the Top Court.”
Not in today’s Republican Party, anyway.
